Increased Sanitation Measures

Campus Cleaning and Disinfecting Cleaning and disinfecting will occur nightly in every classroom, commons areas and on high- touch surfaces. Ensure ventilation systems are working properly and increase circulation of outdoor air as much as possible if this does not pose a safety threat to students or staff. Deep cleaning is done during holidays as a general procedure. This is intensified as positive cases are identified on a campus.

Daily Campus Cleaning

  • Each classroom and restroom will be disinfected

daily.

  • All high/frequent touch areas will be disinfected daily.
  • Cleaning cloths will be changed for each classroom

and commons area to maximize room-to-room cleaning.

  • Custodians will wear masks and gloves during work

hours.

  • The cafeteria will be disinfected between lunch and

breakfast periods.

  • Staff will have access to disinfectant wipes to sanitize

working surfaces and shared objects after each use and during breaks in instruction.

  • Additional Cleaning Measures will be implemented for

Campus Nurses

Each campus has a Registered Nurse (RN) to assist students with health related services such as administering medications and providing resources to parents and families. This year the nurses will help guide lessons on mitigation strategies to protect students and staff while at school. The nurses will be instrumental in helping to identify and isolate potential COVID-19 cases.
