MAP
A time-based navigational system
Pictured are four difgerent maps, designed for each block in the Gaer. The blocks are named after an area in Newport to create a sense of place. Each map has a time scale to various points of interest around the area. The colours chosen for the paths are an indicator for the terrain.

SARAH MOL YNEUX Where would the maps be?
The corrisponding map would be placed in each block enterance, in plain view. Other places could be
residents, screensavers. The maps would be to act as a gentle reminder as to where they were, as well as how far they were away from the gardens for example.
