Acts of Terror / Natural Disaster • The Trip Leader will take the group back to their hotel as quickly as possible (using secure forms of transportation). • Once in the hotel the group will go into ‘lock - down’; the students are not allowed to leave their rooms without permission from the teachers. • The Trip Leader will consult with Mr. Ingram and the British Embassy to decide the safest course of action; usually, that is to stay where they are (and not to rush to an airport / train station – as these are often used as secondary targets). • Parents will be contacted by the school. Do not try to contact the Trip Leader; we need to keep that line of communication open.
