License plate number, A witness who recognized the persons leaving the items, Something found which identifies the persons such as a old bill, or a magazine subscription, ID must have a name AND address.

REMEMBER

You must have identification of dumper to file a report. The City does not go through illegal dumps to find identifying material. Any illegal dump without identification becomes the responsibility of the property owner. Ultimately, it is the property owner’s responsibility to clean-up the debris, but our

• fficers can aid in contacting the violator.

PENALTIES FOR ILLEGAL DUMPING

City of Spokane

Up to $513.00 or, Up to 90 days in jail

Spokane County

Up to $5,000.00 or, Up to 364 days in jail

We cannot take care

unsanitary conditions. If the inside of a person’s house is a concern, please contact the Regional Health District.
