Parking

  • Volunteers will park at St. Mary’s University (on the grass field behind the school)
  • Volunteer shuttle buses powered by Telesat will run continuously throughout the

day between St. Mary’s University and Canyon Meadows

  • Volunteers will enter through the main admissions tent
  • Parking in the volunteer lot is only permitted on days you are volunteering
  • For parking on days you are not on shift, shuttles powered by Telesat will run

from Anderson LRT station during the following times:

  • Wednesday & Thursday - 6:30 AM until one hour after the completion of play
  • Friday through Sunday - 8:00 AM until one hour after the completion of play

  • Located between the 1st and 7th holes
  • Hours of Operation:
  • Monday & Tuesday – 7:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • Wednesday & Thursday – 5:45 am – 6:30 pm
  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday – 6:45 am – 4:45 pm
  • Please do not use the ServiceNow Volunteer Centre on days

you are not volunteering

  • No guests permitted in ServiceNow Volunteer Centre

NEW Mobile Device & Camera Policy

  • Mobile devices may now be used to capture video, audio and photos

(content) in all areas throughout tournament week

  • Keep your mobile device on silent while on the grounds
  • Flash photography is not permitted
  • Phone calls are only allowed in designated areas
  • If you notice a spectator using their mobile device in a way which

disrupts players, caddies or media – please politely remind them of the mobile device policy. If they continue, please notify your committee chair

Smoking & Alcohol

Smoking Policy

  • Volunteers should refrain from smoking near spectators while

wearing a volunteer uniform. Alcohol Policy

  • Please refrain from drinking alcohol while on shift. Beer is

available for purchase in the Volunteer Centre for after your shift.

Weather Plan

  • “Weather Warning” horn sound – volunteers

should notify spectators around their location that dangerous weather is in the area.

  • One prolonged note of an air horn – Signifies a

dangerous situation (lightning)

  • Two short notes of an air horn – Signals that play

will be resumed

  • The ServiceNow Volunteer Centre is not a shelter during lightning. If there is

lightning, please return back to the busses to be taken to your car

  • Prior to 2:00 PM – Please wait in your car for further instruction
  • After 2:00 PM – Most volunteers are free to return home! Some committees will

need to be available if play resumes and your committee chair will let you know.

Final Tips

  • Wear comfortable shoes.
  • Check the weather forecast before your leave for you shift

and dress accordingly.

  • Bring sunscreen & bug spray.
  • Remember to put your phone on silent when you enter the

grounds.
