  • Review earthquake-related hazards and risks.
  • Prepare recommendations to identify and mitigate hazards and risk.
  • Prioritize recommendations for adoption as policy or loss-reduction strategies.
  • Act as a source of information for earthquake safety and promotion of

earthquake loss-reduction measures.
