Phase III: Linden Ave & Casitas Pass 15 Interchanges COST, FUNDING AND MILESTONES  $100 million project is fully funded / $58 million in construction will be voted by CTC  Environmental document approved by Caltrans in 2010/Addendum in 2015  Local Coastal Program Amendment (LCPA) approved - October 2015  CDP approved - November 2015  Construction scheduled for late Spring/early Summer 2016 to last up to four years MAJOR PROJECT FEATURES  Reconstruct US 101 overcrossing & ramps at Linden Ave & Casitas Pass Rd  Reconstruct US 101 bridges over Carpinteria Creek  Extend Via Real frontage road to close two gaps and improve local circulation  Multi modal improvements for bikes and pedestrians at each overcrossing and Via Real

Phase III: Transportation Mgt Plan 18 CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT ELEMENTS  Two lanes of traffic open at all times on US 101 (except for certain nighttime activities)  Do not close consecutive on-ramps/off-ramps  Construction contract to include financial incentives to expedite temporary ramp closures  Maintain access to residential and business areas during construction  Maintain access for bikes and pedestrians as feasible COMMUNICATION GOALS  Identify special event days for community and limit work activity  Have regular construction updates to community through a variety of channels  Provide advance information on construction activities — no surprises!
