raw materials + science Superior quality begins with superior raw ma- terials. Forests are sustainably managed and maintained with regional species. MDF is made of 100% recycled/recovered wood content. Door Works selects MDF that must meet three critical guidelies. It must have high internal bond, a uniform density profjle and be highly refjned.
innovation + reinvention Door Works Company addressed key areas of weakness of MDF doors, such as screw holding power for hanging hard- ware. Our unique construction methodology (modifjed stile- and-rail and triple lamination) allows marine grade Baltic birch plywood blocking to be fjtted inside the door during produc - tion, which means superior fastener holding, added directional stability and superior structural integrity. The embedded wood blocking means a consistent fjnished edge. Environmental stewardship is an additional benefjt to using Door Works doors. All doors are made with MDF that has the certifjcate of compliance by the Composite Panel Association for Eco-Certifjed Composite (ECC) Sustainability Standard and CARB Phase 2.
