1862

The origins of Tractebel are rooted in the 19th century. The company is the result of the merger of Tractionel and Electrobel.

1890

The Lahmeyer Company was founded in Frankfurt in 1890. It was acquired by Tractebel in 2014.

1947

In 1947, André Coyne and Jean Bellier found the consulting firm ACJB, formed from the initials of their names. They join Tractionel in 1976.

200 9

In 2009, the company adopts the name of Tractebel Engineering and becomes a fully fledged independent company within GDF SUEZ.

1965

In Brazil, Tractebel has been active under the name LEME Engenharia since 2000, which was founded in 1965.

1995

Technum is born in 1995, grouping several smaller Flemish engineering firms within Tractebel.

2016

RED and GKW join the Tractebel family. Tractebel unifies its expertise under one umbrella brand.

2018

In 2018, Tractebel acquires Overdick and Deutsche Offshore Consulting to become a leading offshore wind player
