Students are put into three different groups of ten students with two educators who provide mentorship. There are weekly advisory meetings that focus on holistic well-being and community and relationship building.

Personal Projects

Exploring Passions

Students are given half of their educational time and $2000 a year to pursue their

  • passions. Students design a project around

something they are passionate about that can solve a problem and grow their skills.

local experiences and expert guest speakers.

○ From Zero to Infinity - How can we use photography to visualize math? ○ TGS Gives with E-commerce - How can we preserve culture through economic empowerment? ○ India’s Path to Sustainability - Why are toilets and fresh water a growing concern in India?

  • Japan:

○ Conscious Consumerism - Are there really enough fish in the sea to feed Japan? ○ The Nuclear Debate - How has nuclear energy affected Japan, and how will it affect the future of our world? ○ Marketing Japan - How does marketing influence our lives?
