BMX Area • Why Bear Branch Park? – Central location- other townwide amenites (WRC, 9 tennis court complex, large dog park, extended season pool) • Difference between Cranebrook and Ridgewood – More akin to BMX “spots” which are not competition style • When designed ABA Standards were used • Other potential uses for this area – Miniature golf, conservation garden, environmental education center.

BMX Area • Cost Estimates – Fill- (1,800 yards X $18 per yard)- $50,400 – Lights-$50,000 – Fence (1,100 x 6 foot x $10 per lf with maint/access gate)-$28,600 – Clearing/Grading (1.5 acres x $12,000 per acre)- $18,000 – Concrete Work (2400 sq feet x $7.50)-$18,000 – Fine Grading (1.5 acres x $10,500 per acre)- $15,780 – Water Fountain -$6,000 – Site Amenities-$5,000 – Starting Gate-$5,000 – Drainage (250 lf of 10 “ HDP) -$2,500 – Signs- $1,500 – Total-$200,780
