The Pregnancy Resource Center of Henry County provides a non-judgmental environment where men and women have no barriers to access our excellent no-cost services. We offer access to pregnancy testing and limited obstetric ultrasound to confirm pregnancy, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing and treatment, rapid-response HIV testing, and the iNvest Parent Prep Program. Through the iNvest Program, we support our services with instruction about pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, postnatal care, parenting, STI education, and access to tangible support through our incentive program and community referrals. It is our mission to value all aspects of life by meeting the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of each individual so that no one makes uninformed choices about pregnancy or sexual health because of a lack of access to services, information, or support.

A young mother of 3 got on Google and typed in Abortion near me- "Pregnancy Resource Center' McDonough GA came up. I closed my browser and just cried and cried. The next day I went to work and told my assistant what I was thinking about doing. She begged me not to, even offered to adopt my baby. There was no way I could have a baby and then allow a friend to raise him/her. I said "I’m going to this place the Pregnancy Resource center just to get info about abortions, I’m not sure what’s going to happen I don’t even know how far along I am." I had no idea PRC was a ministry. I told Alma my story and she asked me 1 question that gave me goosebumps and made me crumble with tears "You already have 3 beautiful baby girls, what makes this baby any different, any less important than them?" That question changed my life forever. None of my babies have ever been less important than the other, I love my kids. I was just in a bad position, looking for a way out of my mess. Unbeknownst to me, God gave me an open door thru PRC. He showed me that I was never and will never be alone. Faith* is 3 and a half years old, and she is a bundle of joy in our home. I’m eternally grateful to the staff and ministry at PRC because if anything else wouldve came up in my Google search, my little Faith* may not be here. God works in mysterious ways and I know that my story is not to keep to myself but to share with others who might be going thru the same dilemma, the same mess, the same pit of depression, and shame. But I’m here to tell you that God has a purpose for each and every life He creates. It’s up to us to be obedient and trust Him for the rest. I will dedicate the rest of my life helping to empower other mamas that we were created for such a time as this.

Donations from individuals, businesses, and churches fund the work of the PRC. We are not supported by local or federal government funding. This allows us to share hope, help, and faith with each client we serve. As a result, during 2018, TWELVE people began a relationship with Jesus because they heard the Gospel at the PRC.
