 The EduCode Committee works year-round to bring us the EduCode Conference. Over 1,100 attendees, many classes, and a very good profit back to the Chapter!  Thanks again to the entire EduCode team for another spectacular conference!  Note, preparations are underway for next year’s EduCode,

 A presentation on general legal stamping requirements for plans and documents and what the boards of engineers and architects specifically require for plans and documents.

April - Pool Safety

 Our Public Outreach Committee has responsibility for a wide variety of events.  April is when the valley entities highlight safety issues with toddlers in swimming pools.  The Chapter donates to help local jurisdictions provide toddler swim classes.  Chapter donation helped provide swim classes for over 451 toddlers.

 A full overview of the budget was provided to the Chapter.  The Chapter heard from Dave Pasquinelli, Chair of the Finance and Assets Review Committee, and a presentation from Kevin McOsker, SNICC Treasurer.

 The speaker for the July Chapter meting was Greg Welch with the Nevada State Contractors Board. Greg is a longtime member of the SN-ICC. His topic for the meeting focused on the contractors board, how it works and how it serves the construction industry.

SN-ICC presented an educational program November 2 entitled "GETTING CODE OFFICIALS AND SPECIAL EVENT PROVIDERS ALL UNDER THE SAME TENT" with tents, canopy and special event requirements in the I- Codes. The program was be presented by Jim Erickson, Safety Advocates for Tents & Special Events (SAFTSE).
