Many of our learning institutions are faltering under the weight of their outmoded models and the “Is-Ought” Divergence is becoming too much to bear; it’s time to change that; it’s time to pressure their reformation by demonstrating, in stark terms, the power and optionality that already exists, today; it’s time to show them, the institutions, the true and imposing profile of the post-loom existential threat and issue notice: “Dear Learning Institutions, all: We roundly reject your current instantiation. Adapt or dissolve into future history. “ We want to help connect great professors with a community of people who will find that connection not just valuable, but
- meaningful. In 2018, alumni in the US contributed over $12 billion to their alma maters1. How much of that annual expression of
gratitude would be directed towards the cherished professors of those generous alumni, were there channels for such an expression? You’ve got questions, we got answers.* (*Some of them, for sure. And, if we don’t, we’re confident we can find them, together.)
