Human Rights and Responsibilities in the Digital World (HRRD) A class of Geneva college students takes part • Elaboration of different types of texts (tale, human rights chart, fiction, caricatural dialog, arguments) • A drawing – representation of the human being by new technologies • They also bring other questions

  5. Human Rights and Responsibilities in the Digital World (HRRD) Our thoughts Our studies are the beginning of a discussion in order to: • Not repeat history • A new humanity • To be able to anticipate Rather, measure the consequences of all these aspects on societies BEFORE it is too late It's not about banning AI or robots, however: • Be aware of the impact’s magnitude that the digital world as well as the robotization create • For our children • For our future generation • For the Human Race

  6. Human Rights and Responsibilities in the Digital World (HRRD) Our recommendations 1. Define the position of a Human being in a digital world - Robotized Human beings - Humanized robots’ networks 2. In this context, the role of education is essential in order to result in genuine Information and knowledge Societies 3. For the multiple players the Information and knowledge Societies (Governments, Companies, Communities, Individuals, International Organizations) Distinctive Statements taking into account the many diversities must imperatively be taken at different levels (UN General Assembly, Private sector, etc…) This at all levels: locally and internationally
