  • Question Feedback:

How does the new system work for setting in Core subjects work? How have pupils been set? This academic year The Buckingham school has introduced North and South band in English and Maths. The rationale behind this decision was to double the capacity of key members of staff by creating the opportunity for them to teach two groups in each year group. Each side of the year group is set in terms of ability and the side of the year group is decided by the form the students belongs to. Movement between sets is still possible and is reviewed every half term.
