TERRAIN SDP Soundproof System for waste water drainage

We are living in a always more hectically times. People are looking for comfort, quietness and recreation in their own for walls. In one word; people want relax at home. Due that nowadays the building cover is built much more hermetically than years ago, the noise level inside the building is also reduced and that is why the installation noise must be reduced too. Our answer; Soundproof drainage system SDP

NOISE = STRESS = ILLNESS QUIETNESS = RELAX = LIFE QUALITY

TERRAIN SDP Soundproof System for waste water drainage

In our R&D centre we developed four years ago a comprehensive PVC Soundproof piping system with the aim to offer solutions to the always higher demand of “silence” inside buildings.

TERRAIN SDP Soundproof System for waste water drainage

We can offer you a comprehensive PVC Soundproof piping

  • system. The PLUS+ in the

range of d50, 110, 125

  • and160mm. And the ECO

from d32 – 250mm. All unions are made in the PushFit assembly technology with rubber rings. The rubber rings helps to reduce the transmission of vibrations and controls also the expansion in the riser.

Noise outside Situation: NEW building, which is built very hermetically and therefore is reducing much the noise from outside inside the building. Installation noise Cohabitants !!! Problem: Now the gap between the inside noise and the installation noise is quite big and the result is stress between the residents. Solution: Soundproof systems which reduce the drainage noise and thicker walls from one to other apartments!

Which points in planning and execution should be taken in consideration?

POINT 2: Use always 45º elbows because when less noise inside the pipe less noise outside the pipe… 2 x 45º 2 x 45º

Which points in planning and execution should be taken in consideration?

POINT 3: Obligatory! Always brackets with rubber Acoustic Brackets POINT 4: Avoid direct contact from the piping system to the building Legend:

  • 1. Airborne sound
  • 2. Transmission to the structure
  • 3. Structural noise
  • 4. PVC=U Pipe TERRAIN SDP
  • 5. Acoustic Brackets

Which points in planning and execution should be taken in consideration?

THE CRUCIAL RULES

1. If possible let the noise in the same flat 2. Use always 45º elbows because when less noise inside the pipe less noise outside the pipe… 3. Brackets with rubber is a must 4. Avoid direct contact from the piping system to the building 5. Insolating 1,5m of the impact zone helps to achieve the <30 dBA in the Meeting Room

1,5 m insulation

High Impact Zone always 2 x 45º

SLIDE 9

Which points in planning and execution should be taken in consideration?

Shafts should always be isolated by the two sides with glass wool insulation to avoid the "box effect of resonance." Tests have shown that the noise increases inside shafts around 10dBA. Obviously this increase would also increase noise in the outer part of the shaft. The solution is to isolate the two inner sides with a thickness of 30mm. This ensures that the noise does not bounce because it is absorbed into the surface of the insulation. 50dBA 40dBA Without insulation With insulation
