  2. Each year the Tennessee Credit Union League and Volunteer Corporate Credit Union jointly sponsor the Tennessee Credit Union Hall of Fame Award. This award is presented each year to recognize the commitment, leadership and dedication that deserving individuals have made to the credit union movement.

  4. TENNESSEE CREDIT UNION LEAGUE It is the mission of the Tennessee Credit Union League to promote and support the success and advancement of credit unions in the State of Tennessee. The League will accomplish this mission by: • Positively influencing the legislative and regulatory atmosphere for credit unions. • Assisting, educating, training, and informing its member credit unions and their key audiences. • Encouraging cooperation between credit unions, members of credit unions, League chapters, leagues of credit unions, the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions, National Credit Union Administration, the Credit Union National Association, Inc., and other related parties.

LEAGUE DUES • Tennessee is a low dues state • As the number of Credit Unions decline so does the dues dollars • Over the last 30 years we have lost over 300 credit unions in Tennessee • When a credit union merges, the dues dollars go away • We are committed to being a high-service, low-dues state TCUL works hard to control expenses Historically TCUL has been ranked as one of the most efficient Leagues in the country

EXPENSE CONTROL • TCUL actively seeks out the best in class providers and we become a customer or partner to deliver high-quality services to our member credit unions. • Good Examples of this are: • League InfoSight • Small Credit Union Meetings • PolicyPro • Supervision Fee Assistance • PolicyWorks • Salary Survey • HR Suite • Lobbying (State & Federal) • CPD Online These are all dues supported services

CUNA MUTUAL PARTNERSHIP • CUNA Mutual group contributed more than $26 million dollars to the support of the following: • CUNA • World Council of Credit Unions • World Council of Credit Unions Foundation • Credit Union Leagues • Filene • Cooperative Trust • Industry Advocacy & Grassroots Campaigns • In November of 2016 CUNA Mutual Group extended their agreement with all Leagues through 2019

LOAN DISTRIBUTION • Real Estate Loan Growth • Tennessee Credit Union - Real Estate Loan – 9.4% • Tennessee Bank- Real Estate Loan- 13.4% • Commercial Loan Growth • Tennessee Credit Union – 16.3% • Tennessee Bank-15.6% 2015 Commercial Loan growth in Tennessee was 17.7% for Credit Unions and a staggering 22.7% for Tennessee Banks.

  12. TCUL CHALLENGE Your League and CUNA must continue to lobby Congress and work with Federal and State Regulators to provide increased access to Credit Union Business services.
