Petrella and Jan Ullman Richardson ran the 110 M and Shari Higgs ran the 220 M

PVHS in 1977

  • Currently holds PVHS record for 880 yd.

  • The girls worked on their handoffs at least

15 minutes each practice and enjoyed being

  • n a relay team.
  • When runners compete on a relay team

another dynamic comes into play: wanting to turn in your best race for “for the success

  • f the group.”
  • As these girls were not only friends, but

hard workers and tough competitors, they made a winning team and some wonderful memories.

football team parked in a truck along the 1st base side

returned to LCPS as teachers and coaches
