TRANSFERRING TO CSUF
- 60 units, 30 of those units need to be GE approved courses.
- “Golden four” courses completed. Fall admission students
must have golden four completed no later than end of spring
- term. Spring admission students must have golden for
completed no later than end of summer term.
- Keep GPA as high as possible. CSUF is an impacted campus,
- ur GPA for each term is decided after students have applied
for admission and depends on the applicant pool and space availability.
- Fall: October 1st – November 30th
- Spring: August 1st – August 31st

The Basic Skills Requirement: Future T eachers in California must demonstrate they are proficient in basic reading, writing, and math
The CBEST is ONE of the ways to satisfy the basic skills requirement
It’s not too early to think about taking the CBEST!

THE CREDENTIAL PROGRAM AT CSUF
Traditionally, a two-
semester program following the Bachelor’s degree. Sometimes referred to as “the fifth year.”
The credential program
includes pedagogy (the study of how to teach) and student teaching.
