  • Government of Andhra Pradesh expanding on lines of Swachh Survekshan evolution and awards

will be given away at a public function on October 2nd , 2018.

  • Objectives
  • To recognize, inspire and celebrate excellence in sanitation management across different

categories in urban and rural local bodies.

  • To showcase innovative, inspiring and sustainable models.
  • To honor individuals and institutions from government and non-government agencies associated

with sanitation improvement.

  • Identification of best practices ,innovation sand indigenization and transfer of technology.
  • Swachha Andhra Awards include 11 categories & 41 sub-categories in respect of Districts and 11

categories & 44 sub-categories at State level
