SWACHHA ANDHRA AWARDS  Government of Andhra Pradesh expanding on lines of Swachh Survekshan evolution and awards will be given away at a public function on October 2 nd , 2018.  Objectives • To recognize, inspire and celebrate excellence in sanitation management across different categories in urban and rural local bodies. • To showcase innovative, inspiring and sustainable models. • To honor individuals and institutions from government and non-government agencies associated with sanitation improvement. • Identification of best practices ,innovation sand indigenization and transfer of technology.  Swachha Andhra Awards include 11 categories & 41 sub-categories in respect of Districts and 11 categories & 44 sub-categories at State level

  10. SWACHHA ANDHRA AWARDS  Eleven (11) Categories are includes the following departments • MAUD 1. Best Local Body 2. Residential Welfare Association 3. Parks 4. Public Toilet 5. Community Toilet • Education Department – 6. Schools • Health Department – 7. Hospitals • Industries Department – 8. Industrial Area of Local Authority (IALA) • Transport Department – 9. Bus Station Facilities • Endowment Department – 10. Place of Worship • Tourism Department – 11. Tourism Spots • PR & RD Department – Awards will be issued in the mentioned above wherever categories applicable District Collectors to send the 1 st Place winners under all the categories to the respective department on or before 24 th Sep 2018 to finalize the awards at State Level
