  9. SUMMER STEAM 2017 One Week Summer Program for High-Achieving Middle School Students Four Courses of Study: Astronomy, Environmental Science, Robotics, and Mathematics Two Courses Taught by RBC Professors, Dr. David Morgan Cosmic Mysteries & Universal Forces and Dr. Eric Miller

  10. SUMMER STEAM 2017 Students in “Cosmic Mysteries” learned about the connections between physics and astronomy. Hands-on lab activities introduced concepts in motion, optics, and spectroscopy. Telescopic observing sessions allowed students to observe the Sun, Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn. Students also designed and built a mock- up of a permanent Mars base using everyday materials and 3D-printing.
