Students in “Cosmic Mysteries” learned about the connections between physics and astronomy. Hands-on lab activities introduced concepts in motion, optics, and spectroscopy. Telescopic observing sessions allowed students to observe the Sun, Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn. Students also designed and built a mock- up of a permanent Mars base using everyday materials and 3D-printing.
