- Process paperwork for Q-drops,
Minor forms, etc.
- Assist you with academic issues,
professors, or personal concerns
- Your advisor is meant to be a
resource for you – if you don’t know where to go, just ask

Expectations of Students
- Be knowledgeable and responsible for your own degree plan
- Email, call, or make appointments if you have questions
- Make appointments early if you can (especially during pre-
registration)
- TALK to your advisor if you are struggling!
- Don’t wait until end of the semester to seek help, your advisor
can’t help you, if they don’t know about it!

- The excuse that “I didn’t check my email” is NOT acceptable
ACADEMIC SUCCESS
Academic Probation
- If your cumulative or term GPA falls below a 2.0, then you will be placed
- n Academic Probation
- AGSC majors must maintain a 2.75 GPA at all times per TEA
guidelines
- You will receive a letter explaining your requirements to continue with
- ur program
- If you do not meet those requirements by the next semester, you will be
dismissed from our program

DEGREE PLANS
Look Over Your Degree Plan
- This lists every course and degree
requirement you need to complete in order to graduate
- There are sections for required
Major courses, University Core Curriculum, Ag electives, etc.
- Be mindful of grade & GPA
requirements (C or better in Major and Minor Coursework)
- AGSC students must maintain at
least a 2.75 GPA at all times
REGISTRATION
Registration will be facilitated via Zoom for those of you needing assistance. Emails will be sent out with further instructions. Utilize the Registration Worksheet Registration opens at: 2:00 all transfer students 2:30 all freshman students Advisors will be logged into Zoom 30 minutes before your registration opens.
REGISTRATION
- Please be aware that after this conference pre-registration you
will be responsible for all subsequent semesters
- Any advising appointments needed for registration for
subsequent semesters should be made well in advance as calendars fill up quickly
- Walk-in advising is available for students who are currently in our
majors during pre-registration time each semester
- You’ll receive detailed emails with this information, so be sure to
check your TAMU email frequently
PARENT/GUARDIAN ACCESS
- Parents are able to access grades after
the student sets the parent/guardian password
- This form ONLY grants parents access to
student grades
- Faculty and staff are restricted in what
they are allowed to discuss with parents/guardians concerning students
- Information for parents will be
uploaded into the eCampus portal
