Money Advice

Money, Money, Money……

National research highlighted that:

  • 39% of students don’t budget when it comes to managing their money.
  • 24% of students rated themselves as very stressed about managing money.
  • 1 in 4 students have never budgeted.
  • 80% of students worry about making ends meet.
  • Only 1 in 5 students find it easy to get money advice from their university.

Internal research revealed that students often think they don’t have enough money to manage and therefore request monetary support in the first instance, however, in reality they often need student funding advice to ensure they are receiving the correct statutory support and budgeting advice to manage their finances more effectively.
