Guidelines Regarding Immunizations

All students new to the school on or after August 1, 2020, will need to provide medically verified immunization records or a valid, signed Certificate of Exemption to attend school in person the first day. Conditional status is granted if students have not yet finished but have received all doses they are eligible for. When the next catch up dose is due the parent or guardian must turn in documentation with in 30 days of due date. Please contact your school’s nurse with questions. The district website has complete explanation of law changes

Special Populations

We are going to have a phase-in model for special populations. The first priority group that the district is working on bringing in to the school buildings are the kindergarten students.

Special Education

SCSD Special Education Phase 1 - All special education students in continuous learning 2.0; No in-person instruction SCSD Special Education Phase 2 - ASSIST program in-person instruction two days per week, beginning with elementary, then increasing to secondary; Resource students receive one-day per week of in-person paraeducator support. SCSD Special Education Phase 3 - Adding behavioral program instruction in-person two days per week, beginning with elementary, then increasing to secondary. SCSD Special Education Phase 4- Adding pre-school instruction in-person; increasing ASSIST and behavioral instruction to four days.

Attendance will be taken during continuous learning. We are waiting for state level guidance regarding how attendance will be collected and monitored.
