The Future Ready PA Index is the new school measurement tool for communities to evaluate how schools are doing in preparing students for college, career, and community after graduation. Preliminary information regarding this tool was discussed at Curriculum and Instruction Board Committee meetings in October 2017. Pennsylvanians wanted a tool for evaluating schools that doesn’t rely solely on standardized test results.

school success based on local priorities and values. The dashboard provides a comprehensive snapshot and gives us an opportunity to focus on the curriculum that is important to
Measures displayed on the dashboard are practical and easy to read and understand. Overall school performance is apparent, and areas of strength or in need of improvement are evident.
The Future Ready PA Index, in tandem with the UCFSD Dashboard, will provide our community quick access to key data connected to student achievement, career readiness, student wellness, and district fiscal condition. The data presented will help teachers, administration, and the School Board establish goals for the coming year.
Future Ready PA Index will go live this month, November 2018. UCF Administration will communicate with staff, parents, and students regarding this new tool.
