Itinerary – Sugarloaf

  • Depart School – 6am, flight departs Heathrow at 09.55

28th March to Boston. BA1502 (American Airlines)

  • Arrive in Boston at 13.50, 4 hour coach to resort
  • Return – Depart Sugarloaf on 3rd April travel and stay
  • vernight in Boston
  • Return – Flight Leaves Boston at 20.05 4th April and

returns to Heathrow at 7.45am 5th April. BA1523 (American Airlines)

  • Arrive at school approx 9am 5th April

Trip Rules

Students must only ski when accompanied by an instructor Students are not allowed in any room other than their own No student to be out of room after lights out. Students must be considerate to other guests No smoking or alcohol at any time Students will have limited leisure time in the resort. They must stay in the designated area in groups no smaller than three and report in at the correct time. Students must remain in the hotel unless given permission to do

  • therwise.

Students are not permitted to use their balcony.

Trip Rules

Students must follow the instruction of staff and instructors without question Students must be sensible and well behaved whilst travelling Students will be responsible for any damage they cause Students must be on time to avoid worry/delay. Students are expected to behave responsibly and safely at all times. Students are not permitted to buy dangerous or offensive items in resort. Please note that if a serious behavioural problem occurred parents could be asked to collect their child from the resort or pay the cost of sending the child home.

Other Information

Updates - Students will have access to a pay phone in the hotel. Medicine - Should be given to your child's group leader and the party leader be made aware. Insurance – We hold a group Policy. Parents are responsible for medicine and excess costs. Swimming – We require a letter of consent to complete this activity. Swimming will only take place with a member of staff present.

Before Departure

Please hand the following to your travel group leader:

  • Evidence of ESTA approval (Where available)
  • Completed EV2 collect after Christmas
  • Hand in letter of permission to swim
  • Change money into Dollars
  • Exercise!
  • Any updated passport information
  • Hand in hire form (issued 2 weeks before)
  • Watch out for the final departure letter which will come out

approx two weeks before departure with confirmed instructions for the day.

On the Day - Sugarloaf

  • Arrive 6.00am
  • Students to report to travel group leader and hand in passport.
  • Money should be in a named envelope with the amount of money

also detailed. Money not handed into staff is not covered by the school insurance policy

  • Collect a luggage tag and a piece of ribbon
  • Once checked in students should say their goodbyes, load their

luggage and wait on the bus.

  • Please remember to bring a sensible amount of luggage!
