Institute XLRI in 1978. He became Country Head of Corporate Banking India HSBC in 1997 during which period the bank assets grew from $750 million to USD $4 billion. Under Mr. Kuruvilla’s leadership, HSBC bank became one of the leading financial institutions in India. During this period, the major multi nationals entered India with HSBC as their prime advisor. Subsequent to this assignment, he was Regional Director for South India where he led the initiative to setup HSBC back

Following 30 years of a successful career with HSBC India, Mr. Kuruvilla relocated to HSBC Singapore as the Managing Director of HSBC Private Bank, Singapore. He joined LGT Bank Singapore in 2006, and became partner of Oclaner in 2011. Has an exceptional network of Indian business partners, and is on several boards. Was a member of the Confederation of Indian Industries, and a general committee member of Madras Chamber of Commerce and the British Business Group, South India.
