Lithuanian Textile Institute was faunded in 1960 in Kaunas. Institute is a state research and ervice Centre. From the year 2012, Lithuanian extile Institute was merged with he Centre for Physical Sciences nd Technology.

Testing of textile materials at the laboratory which i accredited according to LST EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard to carry out physical and chemical tests.

• Conformity assessment of the Personal Protective

Equipment (PPE) – protective clothing (Notified bod No.1401).

Evaluation of the ballistic properties of garments at th shooting range.

• Textile institute can also offer an effective link to the

Lithuanian textile companies by: Finding companies for the cooperation; Organizing the seminars or practical training courses for the Lithuanian textile companies.
