  7. This might be something we could do . . .

  8. This might be something we could do . . . I wonder if it would work at Public Works?

  9. Met with Michael Allen, President of Al All E Ene nerg rgy S Sol olar, Inc Inc. Everyone was sure that solar energy could reduce the need to buy electricity for the Public Works’ site.

  15. Funding • Grant Funding through Xcel Energy’s Solar Rewards Program • Additional Funding through the State of Minnesota for purchasing technology made in Mountain Iron, MN • Selling Federal Energy Credits and letting someone else benefit from the accelerated depreciation offered for alternative energy projects through Newport Partners

  16. Questions • Is this legal? • Do we have to bid the project? • Is this a sole source possibility? • How would we even start to write a specification that would cover all of the aspects of this type of project? • Has anyone ever done this before? • Are these solar systems really compatible with the current electrical system?
