1 A RUSSIAN GROUP HAS DEVELOPED, MANUFACTURED AND PATENTED IN RUSSIA AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY 2 FERTILIZER COMPLEX ( SOIL MODIFICATOR ) BASED ON PEAT, DEVELOPERS CALLED IT “ARID GROW”. 3 Tests and small wholesale deliveries were successful in several 4 countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Bahrain). 5 Current supply of full container loads in the region is going on. Laverov, member of RAS Presidium, 3 academician, world market of soil modificators produced in Russia is estimated to US$ 33 billion per year. 4 Information obtained through the territory of Chuvashia (Russia) and Mari El Republic (Russia) suggests that peat stocks only in their 5 territory are up to 50 million tonnes. The second basic component for “Arid Grow” is poultry manure. Almost all 6 poultry farms in Central Russia are willing to pay extra for the removal of manure, because it is an extremely toxic product. Thus there is no 7 shortage in the raw material. 8
1 TEST RESULTS GAINED FOR SEVERAL YEARS FROM A GROUP OF FARMS IN TVER REGION, WHERE PRODUCTION OF “ARID GROW” IS SITUATED 2 WITH CAPACITY OF 10 000 TONNES PER YEAR, INDICATE THAT ITS APPLICATION SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASES PRODUCTIVITY (UP TO 70%) WHILE REDUCES 3 COSTS OF WATERING OF ANY CULTIVATED CROPS. 4 5 6 7 8
1 “ARID GROW” PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY AND TEST RESULTS SHOW THAT THE FERTILIZER IS VITAL FOR THE BIGGEST COMPANIES WHOSE ACTIVITIES 2 ARE RELATED TO THE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF ROADS AND RAIL . “ARID GROW”: 3 Repeatedly increases resistance to soil shattering in deserts (e.g. slopes 4 of railways in Mongolia) 5 Repeatedly increases density and viability of grass cover on roadsides of highways. 6 “Arid Grow” application will also allow reducing the budget for the annual planting in megacities several times. 7 8

Selling price of fertilizers in the Gulf countries ranges from US$ 400 to 700 per tonne, 7 it depends on composition, packaging, warehousing and distribution costs. 8
1 ECONOMIC ESTIMATES SHOW THAT THE PROFITABILITY OF SUCH AN ENTERPRISE IS UP TO 60% , MEANING THAT THE PAYBACK PERIOD 2 IS UP TO 2 YEARS AFTER START-UP . 3 THE PROJECT IS SUPPORTED BY THE PRESIDIUM OF RUSSIAN 4 ACADEMY OF SCIENCES AND IS INCLUDED IN THE UN PROGRAM . 5 6 7 8
