Habitat and food

  • Sloth Bears occur in a wide variety of habitats

ranging from grasslands, thorn scrub, sal forest, moist evergreen forest and riverine forest.

  • The main food sources for this species are

termites, honey, berries, roots, carrion, insects and fruit.
