Key Site (SUID) and Real Property Unique Identifiers (RPUID) Concepts All DoD real property sites and assets will be uniquely identified • The SUID and RPUID will be • – Created when legal interest in the site or asset is acquired by DoD – Non-intelligent unique identifiers assigned to the site or asset, not the organization of the owner, occupant, or manager Systems referencing real property information will use the SUID and • RPUID to enable improved real property accountability, business management, and financial management – Sites and assets will be associated with the responsible organization – Real property expenditures will be tracked at the individual asset level – Environmental liabilities will be linked to the affected asset(s) OSD will manage the site and asset registries • 3 O:\6 Installations Mgt Team\UID\Craig Adams Site UID JRIB Presentation November 2005 V1.1 11-15-05.ppt
