Subsoil Excavation

DEMUCKING CHALLENGES: Northern half of Right-of-Way needs to be demucked up to 12’ deep, adjacent to existing roadway. Verify Cores AB-5 (10’), versus MD-7 A to F (less than 5’) SOLUTIONS: CPC will coordinate pre-activity meetings with Contractor and Geotech Engineer to confirm limits of demucking. CPC will perform ground survey in-house.

Maintenance of Traffic

LANE & SIDEWALK CLOSURES CHALLENGES: Silver Shores Elementary School & Silver Shores Park: Traffic backs up on Pembroke Rd. Sidewalks are filled with pedestrians. SOLUTIONS: CPC will be proactive and coordinate any special events, early release dates, etc, with the contractor, School Board Transportation Department, school crossing guards, stakeholders and emergency services to identify any conflicts in advance.
