Report Fraud 49 Start C May 201 4 Get Safe Online, Safer-Jobs and Action Fraud are warning young people to take precautions whilst looking for jobs online, to avoid April 201 4 falling victim to stammers . March 2014 Figures from the pity of London Police's N ationa l F ra ud I nte llig ence Bu rea u (NFIB) - say that the most defrauded job-seekers were between the ages of 18 and 25, and those aged 23 are the most likely to fall victim to scams when job hunting online . Further e x amination of the figures shows that , on average , v ictims lose approximately E4,000 w hen they are scammed . Although scams that look to l 0 0 w ere the most s ucces s ful , one victim reported fraudulently secure losing £ l 9 5,000 . Over half (56%) of all defrauded job-seekers are based in London and 7 1 % of job fraud scammers are suspected to be in London .
