Achieving High Quality Clinical Research Visual Communication & Subject Interactions

“The language we use to build the world is so close to what can be used to undermine it. Design and persuasion are manipulative, and if we have the skills to seduce others toward green pastures, we can also lead them off a cliff.” – Frank Chimero If we choose to acknowledge that the use of visual communication impacts the experience of human subjects, gaining sensitivity to its use becomes an ethical imperative. In this presentation, we will explore some fundamentals of visual languages and their intersection with human research. 8
