How to find us?

We want all of our students to be as independent as they can be. This includes travelling to the classroom in the morning and to your placements. You can plan your journey to us by following this link https://my.tfgm.com/#/planner/ Step 1: Enter your home postcode Step 2: Enter our postcode (M50 2EQ) Step 3: Select ‘Arrive by’ in the dropdown box Step 4: Change the date to when you will be travelling and the time to 08:45 so you are early for college.

How do you get here by tram?

The Metrolink is one of the best ways to get to us as there are now THR THREE EE different stops on THREE THREE different

  • lines. The MediaCityUK line (Orang

ange), Intu Trafford Centre line (Red) or the Eccles line (Light Blue). The neares est stop

  • p is MediaCityUK and as this is the end of the line everyone gets off the tram.

Broadway on the Eccles line and Imperial War Museum on the Intu Trafford Centre line are nearby too. We advise that you do some practice journeys with your family so you are familiar with them before you start.

How to get here by bus (Number 50)

■ The number 50 https://tfgm.com/public-transport/bus/routes/50-east-didsbury is one of two bus services that run all day to Media City / Salford Quays ■ It runs from East Didsbury straight into the centre of Manchester and then onto Media City /Salford

  • Quays. If you live in East Didsbury, Burnage, the Fallowfield / Levenshulme border, the Longsight /

Rusholme border or near the MRI this could be the bus for you. ■ Adva vantag ntages.

  • s. One bus all the way. Runs about every 5 minutes. Terminates at Salford Quays.

What is the classroom like?

We meet in the classroom 9am – 1030am Monday to Thursday and we will deliver sessions aimed at getting you ready for work. We cover Maths, English, ICT, Employability and Personal Development. This includes topics like timekeeping, dealing with problems, presenting ourselves in the right way, health and safety, managing money and lots of

Our classroom is within a professional environment so it is much quieter than a college campus.
