National Environm ental Policy Act ( NEPA)

  • Public outreach begins with the

NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) process:

  • NEPA requires agencies to integrate

environmental values into their decision-making processes by considering the environmental impacts of their proposed actions and reasonable alternatives to those actions

  • NEPA also includes public

involvement activities and gathering feedback from the public

between 3rd and 8th Streets.

Traffic Control

  • Long-term single lane closures will be used between New Brighton and 8th Street in

  • Short-term off-peak single lane closures will be used between 8th Street and 20th

Street in Beaver Falls. This may include night work, to minimize parking impacts in the business district. 16
