• TASK 1

– Advance engineering sufficiently to allow the performance of independent cost estimates and schedule impact analyses for each of the 3 ideas – Approximately two months to complete (Early April)

• TASK 2

– WMATA and PYC will both perform the cost estimates and schedule analyses – The cost and schedule analysis results will be included in the Matrix – Approximately one month to complete (Early May)

WMATA PROCESS

• Using PYC for analysis activates the contract

procurement process for a contract change

• Requires additional level of documentation and

adherence to process, so as not to compromise ability to use PYC to perform

• Once Task 2 is completed WMATA will present

publicly the analysis of the options
