  • Can this unit do multistage tightening as PF4000 / 6000?

Hydraulic tools are not continuous rotation tools hence have design and control limitations.

  • What is the accuracy of this unit ?

+/- 10% as per ISO 5393 (Tested on IRTT dynamic transducers with ST analyser)

  • How the frictional losses in the system have been accounted for ?

At the time of calibration, we calibrate the complete unit with hose, wrench and pump. This eliminates all frictional errors from the system.

  • Does this unit stop if there is a re-hit ?

Yes with Angle based strategy

  • Can we run two tools at same time same torque and different torque ?

In option 1 with Torque control we can run 4 tools at same time but with one feedback on controller. Can be done in option 3 as well but needs software modification at additional cost. Not available as standard.

FAQ

  • How to ensure that pre-torqueing done on bolts is correct ?

Needs several tests to find an appropriate pre torque angle and time window. Results can show the background colour as orange or yellow with code to identify if pre torque was good or not.

  • Is this unit possible on lynx pump ?

No, currently we have RTA, only on Panther pumps.

  • How is calibration done ? Can we do it onsite ? Cost ?

Yes, onsite calibration can be done. Service division being updated on it.

  • How to get software and repair support ?

Quick support can be provided by taking virtual control of controller through Team viewer installed by default on all machines
