Students projects

Students can organize in groups (max 3 people) to develop a project and present written reports (or slides) to be discusses

  • rally

Project groups can develop

real robot prototypes (self-built, Lego, Arduino, NAO, Roomba, etc.) simulated systems proposed in the Lab (Matlab, simulated systems proposed in the Lab (Matlab, Simulink/SimMechanics, V-Rep, etc.) theoretical studies on topics not developed during the course

Student projects

Students can also join academic student teams that manage complex projects (see separate slides) All activities must produce written/slides reports to be discussed in the same way as the previous ones Student groups are listed here

Student groups related to robotics are

Online video courses Following online video courses is encouraged, but does not count for the final mark One of the most appreciated

  • nline video course is that of
  • nline video course is that of

professor Khatib, Stanford University Introduction to Robotics

Online video courses Another interesting course related to service robotics is Artificial Intelligence for Robotics by Sebastian Thrun

Sebastian Thrun is a Research Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University, a Google Fellow, a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the German Academy of Sciences Thrun is best known for his research in robotics and machine learning, specifically his work with self-driving cars
