The Network – Locations  On Main Stem : o Upstream and downstream of major urban areas o Downstream of Point sources from Industrial & Domestic discharge  Major tributaries : Upstream of the confluence with the Ganga  In major drains  At important mass bathing place  Upstream of intake well for drinking water treatment plants  Downstream of wastewater treatment plants NGRBA Cell, CPCB Delhi 5
