You and your child need to choose:
Year-long reading OR a semester of reading AND a
semester of Transitional Spanish or World Language
One year-long elective or two semester-long electives ACT II (if interested)
All students take the above classes. You do not need to complete anything in this section.
This is confusing. The 1st box is from the front of the card and the 2nd box is from the back of the card but they go
the option of taking year-long reading or taking reading and either Transitional Spanish or a World
for reading and a language, the student will attend reading one day and the language the next day and continue in this pattern.
Students must choose two semester classes or one full-year class. For example, students could choose a semester of Exploration Rotation/Wheel and a semester of Chorus. Or students could sign-up for one full-year class, such as Band or full-year Exploration Rotation/
included classes such as Teen Living, Technical Education, Drama, and Art. Please complete the alternate section in the event your first choice(s) are not available.
ACTII is an opportunity for students to take classes after school. Attendance is taken and grades earned. Signing up for ACT II here only expresses an interest, not a commitment. Please check “not interested” if you are not interested.
