Paper Mailed Survey Month of February 21 Questions Received a little over 1,200 2 out of the 4 areas were generally in favor of the consolidation

Phone Poll January 9 – 14, 2019 22 Questions Results found 2 to 1 respondents were in favor of the consolidation.

Focus Group Business Owners – February 13 Everyone was in favor of consolidation. Concerned the current school district will not be able to provide world-class education and will not be able to have access to updated technology and fear students are being deprived of academic, athletic and social opportunities.

Concerned in the future we will lose good teachers to better neighboring school districts. Feeling of lack of college prep from the interviewing of the graduates from Cardinal.

Concerned the “deep roots and traditions” are stunting the resident’s ability to see opportunities for our children. They expressed when the levy passed, there was not an “either or” option. If there was an option for the consolidation, there may have been a different outcome.
