In late April, ExcelinEd surveyed 35 state leaders to gauge their thinking on reopening schools. – 21 state leaders said they were leaning towards allowing school districts to determine when to reopen in the fall – 29 said they were considering staggered attendance schedules – 28 said they would encourage some form of asynchronous learning
