  • Engage attendees during your session using

Stamps, and send out helpful links and resources directly after the presentation

example: Have you used Remind before? Stamp this message with a check mark if yes. (Press the star in the bottom right for stamps.) example: Want to share Remind with your stafg? Find a downloadable presentation and handouts at remind.com/teachers.

  • You can also directly tweet your messages

after they’ve been sent. NOT PRESENTING? Use the Remind class to share your locations throughout the conference. Instead of setting up a booth, set up some swag at a convenient table near cofgee or wifj, and invite people to come learn about Remind. You can also use this class to share the time and location of a CofgeeEDU. *See below to learn more about CofgeeEdu. Each individual that signs up for your Remind class and then creates his or her own class will count as your referral. *See below to learn more about the benefjts of referrals.

Step 01: Look the Part

All presenters or conference attendees sharing Remind should be equipped with a Remind T-shirt and swag bag. Please send an email as needed to ambassadors@remind.com with the conference name and date, number of attendees, your shirt size, and your address. We want you to look the part!

Step 02: Create a Remind Class

Create a Remind class and class code with the name

  • f the conference you’re attending or the name of

your upcoming session. Promote the class code on Twitter with messages like: for presenters Get the Remind app and join my class @_______ ! Come to Family Communication in Rm. 304 at 10am to learn about this tool and more. #FindRemind for non-presenters Use Remind? Join my class with classcode @_________ to receive meetup locations, session tips, and swag. #FindRemind PRESENTING AT A SESSION?

  • In preparation for your session, schedule

a Remind message to go out 10 minutes beforehand with the name and location

example: Come #FindRemind at my session

  • n Family Communication in room 304! Learn

tools and tips that will help you tomorrow.

  • Encourage everyone to download the app at

the beginning of your session if they don’t have it already. Tell your audience that one lucky subscriber will win a Remind T-shirt. Use these example slides to help!

Step 3. Prepare to Play #FindRemind

Use this hashtag in your Remind or Twitter messages to entice attendees to come fjnd you and request swag. To earn swag from Remind, attendees must: 01 / Take a selfje with you in your Remind shirt 02 / Tweet the selfje with #FindRemind The lucky selfje taker who tweets #FindRemind the most often during each conference will win their very own Remind shirt. We’ll give you an extra in your swag bag to give away. You can tweet at them to let them know they won! During your meetups, talk about how you use Remind and how it’s impacting your school. Make sure to ask those you meet what they teach and what their communication needs are currently before sharing how you think Remind may be able to help. If appropriate, suggest ways they could share Remind with their colleagues at an upcoming department meeting or stafg meeting using resources from our website.

Step 4: Plan to Host a CofgeeEDU

Host a #cofgeeEdu at or nearby the event you’re

  • attending. #cofgeeEdu is a one hour teacher meetup
  • ver cofgee in which teachers sit together, share

classroom strategies, and enjoy free cofgee on Remind! Help teachers also share how they’re using Remind, and brainstorm ways that they could share with colleagues or use Remind school-wide. Promote your #cofgeeEdu with your conference hashtag on Twitter and with the subscribers in your Remind class. We’ll reimburse you for up to $50 at every conference with a receipt! Be sure to tweet your photos and messages with #cofgeeEdu and #FindRemind and we’ll retweet them from @RemindHQ. Email a photo of the receipt to ambassadors@remind.com with a brief description

  • f the event and how many people were present.

Step 5: Review Remind Resources

On Remind’s Teacher Resources page, you’ll fjnd a presentation and handouts that can help you share

  • Remind. We also have a number of minute-long

video clips on our YouTube channel for you to share:

A principal’s testimonial about being more connected to what’s happening in the school. An elementary teacher’s refmection on students’ increased motivation and parent involvement. Two elementary parents’ perspectives on how it feels to receive her Remind messages throughout the day when at work. A short animated overview of Remind.

Promotion

We’d love to promote your upcoming presentation

  • n Twitter and Facebook. Please email

clara@remind.com with the following: 01 / All the details—time, place, co-presenters 02 / Your social media handles Each time you include @RemindHQ in a tweet preceding or following your presentation, we’ll retweet it as well! If you’d like to provide a recap of your talk and/or a refmection on the conference/event you’ve attended, we’ll feature your post on blog.remind.com and promote it through our social media channels.

Track Your Referrals

As you share Remind and its benefjts with other educators, it’s important to track your outreach. If you’re on Twitter, use the Twitter hashtag #FindRemind so @RemindHQ can connect with your new contacts. Request that people download the Remind app: rmd.me (available on iOS, Android, and Chromebook), sign in as as teacher, and join your Remind class. They will fjrst be asked to create a class themselves, so they’ll see how easy the process really is. This will also earn you a referral! List the names and email addresses of anyone who’s interested in becoming an Ambassador, and email them to ambassadors@remind.com.

How Inviting Colleagues to Use Remind Benefjts You

Let’s be honest—conferences and events can be expensive! Instead of fmying around the world

  • urselves, we’d like to help you attend future

events you’re interested in. After you recruit 15 new educators to sign up for Remind, you can apply to become a Remind

  • Ambassador. As a Remind Ambassador, you

will receive an offjcial badge, swag exclusive to Ambassadors, and the opportunity to represent Remind at education events and conferences. As an Ambassador, you will also be eligible to apply for TAB. For every 25 new Remind users you recruit, we’ll contribute $50 towards your next conference or education-related event.*

*If you recruit 50 teachers to sign-up, you’ll earn $100 towards your next conference or event.

Thank you for supporting Remind and joining us in our mission to connect every teacher, student, and parent in the world to improve education.
