European Union funding for better PCB recycling technology The project (TrafoDecon) will: • Develop a technology to decontaminate PCB transformers for re-use • Reduce significantly the volume of PCB waste, and aiding the replacement of PCBs with safer alternatives • Demonstrate a technology capable of decontaminating other PCB containing equipment and waste • Install small-scale semi-mobile pilot www.envio-group.com facilities in Poland as part of a Helmut Bergel - 8 - technology transfer aspect of the project.
