▪ Every single day over the break, the water ran brown (women's bathroom WH11 - often happens on Mondays also). Made me nervous washing hands and dishes like they weren't getting clean. Running water for a prolonged time didn't help. ▪ Taxi schedule does not specify whether it is valid for all of the week

  • r only for the work week, and then what happens on the weekend.

▪ This just in: ๏ Please draw lines on the west parking lot to know where to park and where not.

New feedback since 1. December 2019

Housing Committee

▪ Chair: Cheryl Bentham ▪ In charge: Griselda ▪ On the committee: Peter Shanahan, OLI ▪ Deciding on how to fulfill requests for houses

Prioritize families with children, international visitors without transportation, etc.

Following lab priorities (balancing neutrino, CMS, muon, theory, etc.)

Keeping occupancy high

▪ Recently decided on extension requests ➜ all reasonable ▪ Dorm room allocation: 50% first-come-first-serve, 50% following lab priorities:

7 rooms - International

1 room -- Undergrad

6 rooms -- Neutrino

3 rooms -- Theory

3 rooms -- CMS

3 rooms -- Other (such as Astro Physics/PIP-II/SENSEI)

▪ General: the village cannot fulfill all requests for houses/dorm rooms in the summer months. Also we see that more requests are coming for 1 or 2 bedroom houses, while 3 bedroom houses are requested less and therefore are available more often.
