  • Res. 3, S. 2002
  • DOLE conceptualed Unlad Kabuhayan

Program Laban sa Kahirapan or Worktrep Program to improve the socio-economic well-being of the IS by making their livelihood grow into viable and sustainable businesses or micro-enterprises;

  • Convened the 1st NEDA SDC SCIS meeting
  • n February 19, 2007 to solicit support from

members of the Sub-Committee by way of a MOA concerning the formation of IA Network of Support Services with concrete program of action (convergence plan) to provide continuing assistance to the LGUs.

  • Launched WORKTREP Program on March 1, 2007

and a MOA.

  • Called 2nd NEDA SDC SCIS meeting September

14, 2007 on status of implementation of Worktrep and updates on NAPC WISC advocacy

  • Conducted workshop on DOLE livelihood programs

in February 2008 noting too many livelihood programs for the same purpose but different target clientele; reformulated the framework, recoined it as capacity building program for livelihood; renamed to DILP in 2009.
