Webinar Training Series Update

• 5 upcoming Assessment Administration webinars
• 3 paper assessment administration webinars
• 2 online assessment administration webinars
• 1/6/2020: Invitations with registration links were sent to all District

and School level users currently rostered in our INSIGHT portal

• 5 upcoming Technology webinars for LEA technology coordinators:
• 1/6/2020: Invitations with registration links sent to all District level

users and district level IT coordinators currently rostered in our INSIGHT portal

• 1/7/2020 - Texas Tuesday provided dates and registration links as well

ESC Onsite Training Update

• DRC is currently collecting preferred dates in March and April from each

ESC Bilingual/ESL director.

• Each ESC will host 1 full day of training:

– Paper training will consist of a preLAS and LAS Links paper administration session ½ of the day (3 hours); – LAS Links Online administration training will be conducted in the other ½

• f the day (3 hours)

– ToT model – 1 representative from each LEA may register/attend

• Once all onsite dates are solidified for each ESC, dates will be posted on

www.laslinks.com/Texas.

• Invitations to register to attend will be provided either by the ESC or by

DRC at that time as well.

Additional Important Updates and Announcements

• Updates are being made now to include immediate feedback after each

calibration item in the Writing Calibration quizzes.

• DRC will make an announcement as to when the quizzes will be

“down” to make the updates (will be over the weekend – exact date(s) TBD

• LAS Links Online usage audits will be delivered this month
• A customer satisfaction survey will be provided soon to all District level

users currently rostered in INSIGHT
